Pro skater and model reveals new lip after it’s ‘completely ripped off’ in pit bull attack

Professional skateboarder and Californian model Brooke Khoury lost her lip and parts of her nose when she was attack ed by a pit bull in 2020. Since then, she has been sharing the reconstruction of her face, and says with each surgery she recognises herself more. Khoury was at her cousin’s house on November 3 in 2020, patting their pit bull “and telling him how good of a boy he was” moments before the attack, she said on a YouTube video recounting the attack. The dog latched onto her face and began to shake its head from side to side. Microsoft says Russia-linked hackers behind phishing attacks

SAN FRANSICO: A Russian government- linked hacking group took aim at dozens of global organizations with a campaign to steal login credentials by engaging users in Microsoft Teams chats pretending to be from technical support, Microsoft researchers said on Wednesday. These "highly targeted" social engineering attack s have affected "fewer than 40 unique global organizations" since late May, Microsoft researchers said in a blog, adding that the company was investigating. The Russian embassy in Washington didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. The hackers set up domains and accounts that looked like technical support and tried to engage Teams users in chats and get them to approve multifactor authentication (MFA) prompts, the researchers said. Taxi driver allegedly attacked with EFTPOS machine at airport

WARNING DISTRESSING CONTENT A Sydney taxi driver says he’s lucky to be alive after he was viciously attacked with an EFTPOS machine at Sydney Airport. New South Wales Police have charged a 25-year-year-old Uber driver over the incident, which happened on Friday morning at the taxi rank of the international terminal. Facebook, YouTube remove content backing Brazil attack

STOCKHOLM/LONDON: Facebook parent Meta and Google's video platform YouTube said on Monday they were removing content supporting or praising the weekend ransacking of Brazilian government buildings by anti-democratic demonstrators. Tens of thousands of supporters of Brazil's far-right former President Jair Bolsonaro smashed presidential palace windows, flooded parts of Congress with a sprinkler system and ransacked rooms in the Supreme Court in a more than three hour attack. "In advance of the election, we designated Brazil as a temporary high-risk location and have been removing content calling for people to take up arms or forcibly invade Congress, the Presidential palace and other federal buildings," a Meta spokesman said.
