Millions of social media users who love to share their best photos of the year online are being urged to be wary of fake apps trying to steal their personal information. At the end of each year, Instagram users post a “top nine” of their most liked photos by using one of several apps that exist to create the collage . Top Nine says millions of users download its app each year but some continue to fall victim to opportunistic cyber criminals who create fake platforms appearing to offer the same service.
